In Sounds of Home: A Musical Odyssey in Rwanda, Michael Makembe, a musical Nomad who travels Rwanda’s villages by boat, captures the ancestral sounds of the people. Every encounter Michael has with villagers provides him with an opportunity for collaboration and cultural exchange, as he records stories expressed through song. Using music, he creates a digital exhibition of Rwandan culture which is shared with the world.
