Sean O’Sullivan has worked in documentary television since graduating in history from the University of Cape Town. Most of his work is in history and science. He has made films in Russia, China, Antarctica, Greenland, Ethiopia, Madagascar and the UK. Sean directed the feature documentary The Meaning of the 21st Century. The narrator was Michael Douglas. Since 1996, he has been recording Holocaust Survivor testimonies in South Africa. This is an on-going project. Using this material, he has produced several films for the Cape Town Holocaust and Genocide Centre. Recently he completed a film on the life of Irma Stern. At present his working on a documentary in Poland and Italy.
