Dinga Sikwebu is a retired unionist, based in Johannesburg. For many years, he was the head of education for the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa). Presently, Sikwebu spends his time writing about jazz. Born in Nyanga, Sikwebu was politically active in Cape Town from the 1970s until the mid-1990s.
